Blue Monolith
Blue Monolith plants a hard-edged angular form — cerulean meeting deep navy — against a raw ochre ground edged in dark umber. Faint botanical gestures ghost across the background, almost like afterthoughts. The aged, unfinished borders give the whole composition the feeling of something unearthed rather than made: a found object, a fragment, a shard of something larger.
The contrast is striking but not aggressive. The blue pulls you in. The ochre holds you there.
What you'll notice first: The confidence of it. There's nothing tentative about this piece — it knows exactly what it is.
Where it lives best: Above a sideboard, credenza, or console in a dining room or entryway. Exceptional against warm linen wallcovering, plaster walls, or deep-toned interiors. Collectors of post-war abstraction and mid-century modernism will feel it immediately.

12-Color Archival Inks
Epson UltraChrome pigment inks reproduce over 99% of the visible color spectrum. No fading, no color shift — vivid and true for up to 75 years.
Hand-Stretched & Finished
Kiln-dried pine stretcher bars, gallery-wrapped by hand and stapled cleanly at the back. Arrives ready to hang — hanging hardware pre-installed, no assembly needed.
